NORAM SX ACID COOLERS

Anodic protection of acid coolers offers an effective option for preventing corrosion, particularly when long-term cost savings and material protection are priorities. However, it comes with significant challenges, including high initial costs, the need for expertise during installation, and ongoing maintenance demands. Additionally, cathodes have a limited lifespan and must be replaced within 5 – 10 years, posing both financial and environmental challenges with respect to disposal.

Noram SX™ Acid Coolers with their optimal thermal performance, wide operating flexibility, and exceptional corrosion resistance, eliminate the need for anodic protection. This eco-friendly solution optimizes energy usage, enhances the durability of system components, and reduces waste, maintenance costs, and environmental impact. By eliminating the need for electrical power and the current regulating control system, to create a passivation layer for corrosion protection, Noram SX™ Acid Coolers deliver a more sustainable solution since the energy footprint is reduced.

In combination with other carefully selected alloys, it also allows of the use of a variety of other cooling media.
