NORAM HP™ SADDLE PACKING

Noram, in collaboration with a Canadian research institute, has developed a packing that provides an optimal balance between pressure drop and mass transfer. It has also been shown to last longer than traditional packings.

NORAM’s HPTM unique ceramic saddle packing has a lower pressure drop compared to a conventional saddle packing, and can therefore be used to increase production in an existing tower by replacing the conventional packing or to design a new tower with a smaller diameter.

Good mass transfer means efficient use of raw materials and small waste streams. Low pressure drop reduces energy consumption. The packing lasts well over time. The overall result is environmental and economic benefits that go hand in hand.
