Bisulphite technology

Our bisulphite technology provides an efficient and reliable solution for producing sodium bisulphite or other bisulphite-based products. By carefully controlling the reaction of sulphur dioxide with alkaline solutions to get sulphite and, henceforth, bisulphite, our system ensures efficient conversion and consistent product quality.

The bisulphite tower is an optional, downstream piece of equipment in the Cellchem sulphur burning process. With extensive expertise in handling the whole process, Noram delivers optimized process design and material selection to minimize corrosion risks and ensure a highly durable system with an extended operational lifespan, maximizing efficiency and reliability for your process.

Sulphur Dioxide

With more than 180 plants installed all over the world – the Cellchem sulphur burning plants are one of the most used technologies for production of sulphur dioxide (SO2). Available standard capacities range from 0.5 to 100 metric tons of sulphur burned per day and the design can be tailored to produce several downstream SO2 products.
