CONVERTERS

The converter in a sulfuric acid plant contains the catalyst necessary for the conversion of SO₂ to SO₃. NORAM converters are constructed entirely from stainless steel, which significantly reduces corrosion. By eliminating refractory lining and utilizing a stainless steel shell with lower heat capacity, the converter achieves shorter heating and cooling times.
